"My priority is always to create a general theme and to reach the highest quality. Organizing a gala is a very complex and delicate work and requires a huge flexibility and good networks. Dancers have to care about their body and even small injuries will result change in the cast. As the dancers are coming from all over the world you always have to be prepared for surprises and changes and to react very fast and efficient. Actually it's very hard to plan everything and that's why galas with the big stars are made rarely and demand huge efforts. I wanted to present the stars from New York, Paris and London as well as some outstanding and exceptional dancers who are very unique in their styles. Another point was to get works from the leading contemporary Star-choreographers, who are very rare to be seen. My aim is to give the audience the chance to discover the stars and styles from famous companies in one evening and without traveling around the whole world. I think that's what's making galas so special and demanded"
